I've been taken in by the new craze!

I thought I was to old to be caught up in the next new craze, but no!
This afternoon my mum brought home a packet of Scoubdiou's. They are long thin plastic tubes that you can tie, plat, knot and do various different things to to create... well a whole host of things, according to the book you can make hair ties, key rings, sea creaturs, small bugs the list is endless. Having just finished one, all I can thing about (well almost!) is what I shall create next. Ploblem is that I'm not very good, I can only do one kind of tie/knot thing which greatly limits the magnificant creations that I can produce!

I've got a Job!!!!

Having spent months delibirating over whether to get a summer job, I've managed to get one without even trying!!!!!
My mum when on a school trip to a farm to do some river work, near her school. While on the trip she was using a flow meter - in the correct way! the guy leading the trip asked how she knew so much about the flow meter. She replied that during my years at school I had done many field trips and even done coursework using this very piece of equipment! and BANG he asked if I wanted a job!!!! YEPPEEE YES please!!!!!
I've now spent the last two days shadowing school groups, trying to learn as much about the farm, pond and river as I can (actually not done anything on the river - manybe tommorrow!) I can now tell you that they have 700 ewes, 1100 lambs, 17 rams, 50 cows, 2 bulls. That organic lamb can be sold for £60, sheep wool at £2.50 (it cost more to shear the sheep!!!)
Although I don't have to go tommorrow, I think I will, then I'll know how to round up sheep!!! What a Life!!!!!!

Today is...

Today to mark reaching 6 months with his girlfriend, my 16yr old brother has decided to have a romantic meal.
I'm all for this except:
The menu: Cheese and Tomato Pizza
Cook: apparently my brother, except my mum cooked it!!!???
Now they are sat in our sitting room eating the said cheese and tomato pizza. They have set up a table (using what I'm not sure!!!) with candles on it, oh and small plates because he thinks its more 'romantic' (meaning that he will have to come out to get more pizza if they want more!!!)
Another thing about there 'relationship' that I don't understand is the need to phone each other 5 mins after they've seen each other. Take this evening for example: Her mum came to pick her up at about 8.45. At 9.00 my brother shouts 'I'm on the phone' and phones her, slaming the door so that no one can hear what they are saying. Not that there conversations seem to be very interesting they seem to consist of a lot of ummming and arrrring, with very little real conversation!!!!!

nothing exciting ever happens, except...

Tomorrow I have to go and see an apparently scary lady in the sports and societies office to order committee rugby shirts for the savoy opera society, I also have to ask about transfering money from one of our accounts to another one! the major problems with this are: a) that she never seems to be there, b) I don't really know who she is c) I have no idea what I actually have to do! So thats tommorrow's excitement!!!!
