Fire Alarms

In the last 3 days (since wednesday night - so techically 4, but actually 3!!!) we've have 6 fire alarms, most of them in the middle of the night!!!
Wed: midnight, 4.30am
Thurs: 8.30 pm, 10pm, 2.30am
Frid: no alarms but I spent most of the night hoping they wouldn't go off so it might have well have gone off!!!
Sat: 11am and then 11.20am (fire engines still here!)
Most of these is the blokes smoking on the second floor, in the MOST flamiable building in Europe (apparently!!!!) how stupid are they!!!
They might not care but to be woken up 3 times in 2 nights by a fire alarm is actually really irritating.
My solution to this: set the alarm of between 7 and 8 in the morning, when I'm awake and they are all in bed, having gone at about 4!!! so they're still asleep!!!!!! I won't actually do it, a) because its not very nice on the other people who are just as anoyed by it, who would be asleep, b) I don't want to get caught and kicked out, c) its not really very christain is it!!!!!

I'm free and yet so busy!

I've just finished an all day orchestra rehearsal, which after yesterdays rehearsal one tommorrow afternoon means that this weekend I can't go out and sit in the sun (if it was sunny!!) Actually even if I wanted to the quads have been fenced of to built the marques for the summer ball (which is next sat, and I haven't got a ticket!)
So as for my free time - I've had two weeks off and I think I've only had 2 days where I haven't had anything to do, committee meetings, training sesions, meeting friends, going shopping, the list of oh so important things to do just keeps getting longer. However this evening I'm planning on either going for a walk, or staying in and watching DVDs! thats the life really!!!!

‘Ross and Rachel, Rachel and Ross…’

One of my favourite ‘Ross and Rachel’ moments is when Rachel decides that she does like Ross. She then goes to the Airport to meet him as he gets of a plane from China, where he has been on account of a ‘whole big bone story.’ What Rachel does not know is that while in China, Ross met Julie who was also on account of the ‘big bone story’. Rachel arrives at the airport to see Ross getting of the plane with Julie in his arms. Rachel tries to escape, only to fall over, and everyone notices. After they all arrive home Rachel tries to tell the others about Ross and Julie. Rachel begins to feel really jealous of Julie, and any nice thing that Julie does Rachel turns against her. Monica sets Rachel up on a date with someone from her work. At the same time Ross and Julie are planning to get a cat, to live half the time with Ross and half the time with Julie. While on the date Rachel spends the whole time talking about Ross, Julie and ‘the cat.’ Her data finally tells here she needs closure. To achieve this she phones Ross to tell him that she is over him. The following morning, while Rachel nurses a hangover, Ross comes over to Rachel and Monica’s and checks his answer-phone messages. After hearing Rachel’s drunken message from the previous night, he asks her if she is really over him, and she asks him if he is really over her. They both realise that they do still like each other. At that moment, Julie buzzes Ross to say that she’s got a cab waiting. Ross is unable to deal with Rachel’s news leaves. Later Ross bumps into Rachel at the coffee house and tells her that she is too late and that he is with Julie now. He leaves only to come back seconds later and kiss her.

Back at Home

I came home this afternoon to watch my mum perform in Trial by Jury. Having heard her saying for weeks how badly it was going I went with quite low expectations! However... Why do you ever believe what people say!!! Actually it was really good. Although a very short performance by the extended church chior, all the parts were clear and the main charecters were really good!
Now at home sitting on the new sofa wondering what to do with a weekend of nothing a head of me! greatly looking forward to it!!!
