In what country? I heard today Brazil has the highest number of deaths by firearms than any other country. (Us North Americans can breath a sigh of relief)
Most murder victims know their murderers, and I know quite a lot of people. On the other hand you have a 1 in 14 million chance of winning the lottery per ticket bought and I have never bought a ticket. In conclusion I reckon I'm infinitely more likely to be murdered than win the lottery.
I would like to think that since it would be nearly impossible to win the lottery that there really isn't a likely chance that one will be murdered either. Get the person who stands behind your bedroom door with a knife in their hand out and you'll be hunky dorey.
